Heavy Equipment Lube Technician (CDL A Required)

About the role

Our construction equipment group is seeking a full-time heavy equipment lube technician with a CDL A license for our Davie, FL branch.

Responsibilities

• Lubricates, oils, and maintains equipment in the field and may make minor repairs in the field, which may consist of adjusting V-belts, tightening or replacing loose or missing bolts or fasteners, replacing a ground engaging tool, replacing a lamp, lens, or bulb in the electrical system, replacing a blown fuse or a bad switch, replacing a seat pad or armrest, replacing wiper blades, replacing cab hardware such as knobs, door latches, and steps, repairing or replacing safety equipment such as a backup alarm, seat belt, or mirrors, repairing or replacing hoses, retrieving codes, downloading, and performing minor calibrations.
• Upkeep of the service truck
• Inventory of onboard parts
• Incorporate Alta's Guiding Principles into daily activities
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• One year of previous heavy equipment or over the road (OTR) repair experience is required
• CDL-A license required
• Previous heavy equipment lube experience is highly preferred
• Able to work 1st shift Monday-Friday, occasional Saturdays as needed
• Good mechanical aptitude with a solid understanding of the following systems: engine, power train, hydraulics and electrical
• Possess own tools
• A positive attitude and high energy
• Must have a clean driving record
