Heavy Equipment Field Technician

Job Summary

Ditch Witch West, the premier capital equipment dealer in the West, is seeking a Field Technician to join their team. This position involves working on heavy trucks, heavy trenching, directional drills, and other heavy equipment at customer locations to ensure peak performance and maximize uptime.

What You'll Do

• Diagnose and repair heavy construction equipment
• Perform top-notch work on equipment
• Interact with customers
• Ensure equipment is running in peak form
• Maximize uptime

What You Need

• 3 or more years of experience diagnosing and repairing heavy construction equipment
• 2 years electrical and hydraulic diagnostic and repair preferred
• Basic computer knowledge
• Self-motivation
• Ability to work under little or no supervision
• Excellent communication and customer relations skills
• Driver’s license with a good driving record. CDL preferred
• Must provide own tools
• Willingness to travel 75% or more of the time

Compensation

$33-50/hr (Depending on Experience)
