About the role

DEUTZ Americas is seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Diesel Technician to join our team in Kansas City, MO. This position offers competitive compensation starting at $30 per hour up to $42 per hour, depending on experience.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair heavy equipment diesel engines and related components
• Perform preventive maintenance and inspections on heavy equipment
• Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with all DEUTZ and industry standards
• Communicate effectively with customers and other technicians to resolve issues

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 2 years of experience working with heavy equipment diesel engines
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and customer service skills

Skills

• Knowledge of diesel engine operation and troubleshooting
• Experience with heavy equipment diagnostics and repairs
