Responsibilities
- Assembles electrical, mechanical and/or hydraulics crane components to support production schedules.
- Read and interpret micro, PLC and relay schematics.
- Assembles sub-assemblies and/or finished products in accordance with written and verbal instructions.
- Performs on-line testing and inspection activities.
- Maintains accurate records.
- Operates forklifts as required.
- Ensures compliance with quality system procedures and safety, health, and environmental regulations.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- 1-3 years relevant work experience.
- Electrical Assembly experience preferred.
- Able to read prints and shop manuals.
- Prior experience with hand and air tools.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of mechanical and hydraulic assemblies and testing.
- Ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
- Ability to communicate effectively and work cooperatively with others.
- Basic knowledge of use of power and hand tools.
Physical And Environmental Elements
- Indoors and outdoors work (in all seasons).
- Exposure to noise, chemicals, heavy equipment and machinery.
- Accurate hand/eye coordination required.
- Finger dexterity required.
- Hand strength needed for grasping, lifting, pushing and pulling.
- Long periods of climbing, twisting, bending, squatting and kneeling.
- Lifting parts weighing up to 50 pounds and pulling approximately 20 lbs.
- Ability to ascend and descend ladders and/or scaffolding.
Compensation & Benefits
- Hourly range: $20.00 to $26.00.
