Heavy Duty Truck Driver

Responsibilities

• Transport HRC and/or Pipe to different places.
• Report accurate driving and resting hours to management.
• Always utilize defensive driving techniques.
• Maintain good communication with the supervisor at all times.
• Maintains Logs and Records according to regulations as required.
• Performs deliveries, pickups, loading, and unloading of trailers.
• Submits to random drug and alcohol testing per DOT regulations.
• Operates tractor and trailer in accordance with established safety procedures.
• The ability to perform unloading functions at any location that would require disengaging of the chains, storage of the chains, and being responsible for the safe unloading of all products.

Qualifications

• At least two years of experience driving a Semi or 18-wheeler truck.
• Must have CDL Class A License and good driving record.
• Complete compliance with all State and Federal D.O.T regulations.
• Adherence to all Borusan Mannesmann Safety Procedures (including First Aid).
• Must have a High School Diploma.
• Well-versed in Hydraulic, Electric, and Mechanic systems.
• Excellent communication and people skills.
• High degree of motivation and attention to detail.
• Able to read and write clearly and accurately in order to fill in the necessary forms and logs required by our procedures.
• Willingness to learn new computer software and technology.
• Able to multitask and establish priorities.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
