Heavy Duty Truck and Trailer SVC Tech

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine maintenance tasks along with documentation
• Repair and maintain heavy duty trucks and trailers
• Perform preventive maintenance (PM), DOT inspections, and complete associated paperwork
• Examine all system parts for damage, wear, and safety issues
• Accurately complete DOT forms and other documentation in a timely manner
• Accurately fill out work order forms, ensuring all necessary parts are included
• Follow safety protocols and company policies

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of diesel mechanic experience
• Valid Class C Driver's License
• Federal Annual and Brake Inspector certification required within 6 months of hire

Skills and Abilities

• Ability to read technical manuals and instructions
• Strong problem-solving skills and customer service orientation
• Ability to work in a results-oriented, fast-paced environment
