About the role

The incumbent maintains clean and attractive public and employee areas within the facility under the direction of the Manager and Assistant Manager.

Responsibilities

• Maintains clean and attractive public and employee areas.
• Deep cleans, sanitizes, and maintains attractive front and back of house spaces.
• Serves assigned areas using provided chemicals and equipment according to procedures and standards.
• Operates and keeps clean equipment for sweeping, shampooing carpets, scrubbing, removing, and recoating VCT floors.
• Ensures all equipment is stored, operated, and stored properly.
• Notifies supervisors of any maintenance problems with equipment, property, or guest needs.
• Follows internal procedures for signing in and out equipment, radios, and master keys.
• Provides excellent customer service for internal and external guests.
• Takes responsibility for the cleanliness of public spaces.
• Recognizes and responds to spills or other calls requiring immediate attention.
• Uses wet floor signs to ensure guest and employee safety around wet areas, spills, or other cleaning.
• Pushes/pulls up to 100 lbs. frequently.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• At least six months of previous public area cleaning experience or related experience such as custodial, janitorial, or housekeeping background.
• Currently holds or is able to obtain a NJ Casino Employee Registration license through the NJ Division of Gaming Enforcement.

Pay

$22.50 an hour.
