Heavy Duty Cleaner - Casino Public Space

Essential Functions

• Create an atmosphere that induces guests to choose Hard Rock Casino Rockford for gaming entertainment.
• Actively build and retain guest relations.
• Mentor team members to provide superior guest service.
• Promptly at the start of each shift, review schedule, check equipment and supplies, and prepare for operations.
• Wipe down all machinery on a shift-by-shift basis.
• Inspect and clean all restrooms.
• Pick up and dispose of paper and other rubbish left by patrons throughout the pavilion.
• Upon ending your shift, secure all equipment and machinery, and complete all required paperwork.
• Perform all other duties assigned and adhere to all Indiana Gaming Regulations and Departmental Standard Operating Procedures.

Education And /Or Experience Requirements

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.

Additional Requirements

• Must obtain and maintain all licenses/certifications per Federal, State, and Illinois Gaming Commission.
• Must successfully pass background check.
• Must be eighteen (18) years of age.
• Must be able to work holidays and weekends, as well as flexible shifts.

Knowledge

• Basic hand and power tools and testing equipment.
• Excellent guest service skills and communication skills.
• Janitorial duties.
• Ability to be flexible to work varying shifts and time schedules as needed.
• Communicate effectively with all levels of employees and guests.
• Review and comprehend all necessary documentation.

Skills

• Routine handling of potentially hazardous cleaning chemicals and waste requires strict adherence to supervisor's safety instructions and compliance with all safety policies and procedures.
• Routine use of powered cleaning equipment.

Pay

The pay range for this position is $16 - $22/hour.

Schedule

Flexible shifts are available based on the needs of the department.
