Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Operate heavy duty wreckers and recovery equipment to tow or recover various vehicles/heavy equipment.
- Perform complex recoveries including rollovers, winch outs, load shifts, and accident scene operations.
- Inspect, maintain, and secure all rigging, chains, straps, winches, and towing equipment.
- Conduct pre trip and post trip inspections of the wrecker and report mechanical issues.
- Communicate with dispatch, law enforcement, customers, and other responders on scene.
- Secure loads safely and in compliance with DOT and company standards.
- Complete required paperwork, digital logs, and service reports.
- Respond to calls during nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized truck and uphold company safety standards.
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A.
- Clean driving record meeting DOT and insurance standards.
- Experience operating heavy-duty wreckers preferred.
- Knowledge of rigging, recovery techniques, and load securement.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Adequate attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed.

Physical Requirements
- Job requires lifting, crawling, pulling, constant use of hands, significant bending and reaching, climbing.
- Regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts, working outdoors in the environment can be exposed to extreme cold and extreme heat.
- The noise level in the work environment is moderately loud.
- Lifting over 50lbs is a job requirement must not have any lifting restrictions and must not be afraid of heights.
