The Skanska Internship Program targets students pursuing construction-related degrees but also considers individuals without formal education who demonstrate a strong desire to join our company at an entry level.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to construction projects in roles such as Engineering, Field Engineering (Mechanical or Civil), Cost Engineering, Safety Engineering, Estimating, and Equipment/Maintenance.
- Apply knowledge of basic construction phases and mathematics (geometry, basic algebra).
- Utilize computer skills (MS Office, HCSS, CGC, etc.).
- Collaborate in an open, values-driven culture with opportunities to learn and grow.
Requirements
- Working toward a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field—or equivalent experience.
- Knowledge of basic construction project phases.
- Proficiency in mathematics (geometry, basic algebra).
- Computer skills, including MS Office and industry-specific software (e.g., HCSS, CGC).

Pay
$25/hour.
Reports to: Project Manager, Superintendent, and/or Department Staff.
Background check required.
