About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Paraprofessional, BT, or RBT to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment for students with diverse needs. This role requires expertise in various teaching methodologies and the ability to adapt lessons to meet the individual requirements of each student. The candidate will work collaboratively with other educators, parents, and support staff to ensure that all students receive the education they deserve.
Multiple caseload options at different grade levels are available.
Responsibilities
- Implement classroom and behavior management strategies.
- Adapt lessons to meet the individual needs of students with disabilities.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Apply literacy education techniques and physical education instruction.
- Utilize tutoring strategies for diverse learners (preferred).
- Engage in ongoing professional development in special education practices.
Requirements
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities in an educational setting.
- Strong skills in classroom management, behavior management, and communication.
- Familiarity with literacy education techniques and physical education instruction.
- Knowledge of tutoring strategies for diverse learners is a plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development in special education practices.
Will accept candidates with Paraprofessional, RBT, or BT credentials.
Pay
$25.00 - $31.00 per hour based on candidate experience.
