Heat Treat Support- Full Time- Monroe
About the role
Join our team as a 1st Shift Heat Treat Support (General Labor) at our Monroe, Michigan facility. You’ll provide essential support to equipment operators and heat treat technicians by following process instructions and work orders. This role includes fixturing, masking, cleaning, loading, and packaging customer parts, along with routine shop duties—all in a climate-controlled environment. Attention to detail is critical.
Our processes improve parts for industries like aerospace, defense, firearms, automotive, construction, agriculture, energy, and medical. You’ll work on components for products like the jaws of life, airplane landing gear, and even parts that went to Mars!
Responsibilities
- Follow process instructions and work orders to support heat treat operations
- Fixture, mask, clean, load, and package customer parts
- Operate fork trucks and overhead cranes (training provided if needed)
- Perform routine shop duties with a focus on quality and precision
Requirements
- One year of industrial experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to operate fork trucks and overhead cranes (training available for the right candidate)
