About the role

Advanced Heat Treat Corp has been in the Heat Treat Industry for 40+ years. Our team improves parts for aerospace, defense, firearms, automotive, construction, agriculture, energy, and medical industries. You’ll learn about metals, the effects of heat on metal, and why quality is critical in an essential but little-known industry. Past projects include parts for the Mars Rover, airplane landing gear, and the jaws of life.

Responsibilities

• Support equipment operators and heat-treat technicians by following process instructions and work orders
• Fixture, mask, clean, load, and package customer parts
• Perform routine shop duties
• Deep to light cleaning, mopping, and vacuuming of restrooms, break rooms, and office areas
• Manage garbage in operations and office areas
• Operate floor scrubber in the plant
• Additional janitorial tasks as assigned

Requirements

• Attention to detail
• Self-supervision and initiative
• Reliable attendance
• One year of industrial experience
• Ability to operate a fork truck and overhead crane
• High school diploma or equivalent

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 9 am to 5 pm
