Heat Treat Operator - 3rd Shift

As a Heat Treat Machine Operator, you will produce world-class fasteners using safe machine operating techniques and effective lean manufacturing principles. This role is critical to delivering high-quality products to our customers and requires a team player committed to excellence.

Responsibilities

• Promote Safety as the Number One priority of all OMG employees.
• Set up machines, observe operations, and inspect first-run and sample workpieces to ensure machining conforms to specifications.
• Read blueprints or job orders for product and job specifications, including wire type, dimensions, tolerances, and number of parts to be run.
• Select, enter, and adjust specified heat treat recipes to conform to production run sheets and feed rates.
• Perform routine lubrication and preventative maintenance inspections as required.
• Observe all safety rules and perform routine and preventative machine maintenance.
• Assist other machine operators with machine setup, stacking, marking, packing, and transporting finished workpieces.
• Maintain a neat and well-organized work area.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.
