Hearthstone Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

About the role

York General is seeking compassionate Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) for their Long Term Care (LTC) department. The position reports to the Director of Nursing Services.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate personal care, including dressing, hygiene, toileting, mobility, and repositioning
• Serve meals and assist with feeding as needed
• Ensure residents remain hydrated with snacks, fluids, and supplements
• Observe, document, and report changes in residents’ conditions
• Maintain accurate documentation, including intake/output, food consumption, and activities of daily living (ADLs)

Requirements

• A genuine interest in caregiving and supporting the elderly
• Completion of a 75-hour Nursing Assistant Training Course
• Active CNA certification with Nebraska Health & Human Services
• At least 16 years old
• Experience in memory care preferred (but not required)
