Responsibilities
- Work closely with the AVP, Regional Operations to drive optimum organizational dynamics, financial performance, operational efficiency, hospital contracting, safety advocacy, and oversight in the assigned region.
- Provide direct oversight for Site Supervisors and Hearing Screen Coordinators; drive the successful integration of team members into one Pediatrix culture and ideology through efficient and effective management of all Hearing Screen Operations.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with all hospital partners and serve as the primary driver of all shared services supporting the Hearing Screen Program.
- Monitor Hearing Screen performance through monthly financial and operations reviews with the AVP, Regional Operations.
- Evaluate Hearing Screen’s productivity and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Build and manage key relationships important to the Hearing Screen Program.
- Provide review and assistance with contract management for partnered hospitals.
- Plan and execute ongoing strategic initiatives for all Hearing Screen Programs in the region; perform region assessments and develop action plans to expand services while partnering with Business Development and Integration teams.
- Evaluate team members’ performance, create development plans to address performance and/or behavioral gaps, and coach the team toward optimal performance.
- Oversee Hearing Screen integration and disintegration duties for the region.
- Manage and approve all requests for travel.
- Work a flexible schedule as required.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in management and supervision.
- Preferred previous experience in healthcare.
