Hearing Officer 1 (Parole Revocation)

Responsibilities

Duties will be discussed at time of interview.

Travel percentage: 50%.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications for non-competitive appointment:

• Admission to the Bar of the State of New York;
• Either four years of full-time post-bar legal experience, including two years of courtroom experience or experience practicing within an administrative body;
• Or four years of advocacy experience in a parole revocation process;
• Or four years of experience as a hearing officer or preliminary hearing officer in a parole setting;
• Or any satisfactory combination of the above.

Multiple vacancies. Work hours, travel, and telecommuting will be discussed at time of interview.

Pay

Base salary does not include a downstate adjustment of $4,000.
