The Hearing Ambassador assists and supports the licensed dispenser in meeting goals and fulfilling daily duties, engaging customers, addressing hearing health needs, educating individuals about hearing wellness, scheduling appointments, and driving growth through community outreach and customer relationship building.
This is an on-site role at the Sam's Club Hearing Aid Center in Raleigh, NC.
Responsibilities
- Have a working knowledge of all Hearing Aid Center (HAC) products and services
- Set the stage for full hearing tests and purchases when interacting with members
- Complete 30-50 outbound calls daily to prospective and/or existing customers
- Secure a minimum of 4 immediate or scheduled full hearing tests daily for the hearing aid specialist or audiologist
- Promote and sell non-hearing aid products to members without hearing loss, with a 50% increase in sales expected
- Learn and use the handheld screener (where permitted by state regulations) as an intercepting tool to generate qualified leads
- Assist in calling past tested members, with or without prior sales, and medical referrals to schedule return visits
- Promote the HAC during Sam’s Club events, Hearing Aid Center events, and outside marketing events
- Work primarily on the sales floor (95% of time), intercepting members and scheduling tests
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong customer service, sales, or retail experience
- Experience with PC hardware and software, including general computer and internet knowledge
- Excellent oral and written communication, organizational, problem-solving, troubleshooting, and presentation skills
- Previous experience with patient/customer appointment scheduling
- Proficiency with basic computer systems and scheduling software
