Healthy Planet Principal Analyst
About the role
The IT EPIC Principal Application Analyst plays a central, high-level role in designing, building, and optimizing critical EPIC applications to ensure seamless integration and functionality. This role involves leading complex EPIC projects, analyzing system functionality, and developing innovative solutions for enhanced user experience and efficiency. The analyst also provides advanced troubleshooting, serves as a top-tier subject matter expert, and collaborates strategically with stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Aids in day-to-day planning, operations, and problem-solving to help the team achieve defined Key Performance Indicators and service levels.
- Helps develop the team to ensure consistency in overall productivity and performance. Monitors individual performance and suggests areas for additional professional development as necessary.
- Organizes resource planning, including allocation and prioritization of workload. Assists in defining work deadlines and coordinates completion of activities.
- Identifies new opportunities for process, system, and staff improvements. Encourages critical problem solving and independent thinking among the team.
- Operates as a change agent for the team by generating excitement for new initiatives and projects.
- Mentors staff in areas of technical and professional development.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or 4 years of equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of a Bachelor's degree;
- 5 years working with systems analysis programming/design, including 5 years within Epic Healthy Planet platform;
- 7 years of additional relevant experience: application support, implementation or development experience with applications in a hospital or medical related industry is required;
- EPIC Healthy Planet Certification.
