Healthcare Value Analysis Specialist - Full-time

Job Summary

Supports, and is responsible for incorporating into job performance, the Frederick Health (FH) mission, vision, core values and customer service philosophy and adheres to the FH Compliance Program, including following all regulatory requirements and the FH Standards of Behavior.

Example Of Essential Functions

• Aids the Manager of Value Analysis with Supply Chain activities and associated product conversions.
• Reviews new product requests, coordinates trials/product evaluations, and facilitates consensus among clinical stakeholders.
• Serves to support the Department’s cost reduction and quality improvement goals as well as collaborates with Buyers, Analysts, Clinical Teams and other team members.
• Collaborates with the distributor and/or manufacturer as well as assists the Strategic Sourcing Specialist with procurement.

Required Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

• Strong data gathering skills
• Must demonstrate proficiency in project management and have strong organizational and prioritization skills.
• Must be proficient with MS Office; Excel, Word, and Power Point.

Minimum Education, Training, And Experience Required

• Associate's degree in business, or health care-related field is preferred but years of experience equivalents will also be considered.
• Clinical experience.
• 1-2 years of Buyer/Purchasing experience.

Pay

• Annual Salary: $55,036 - $78,624
• Based on experience, skills and education.
• If position is part-time, salary will be pro-rated based on scheduled hours.
• The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on specialty if applicable.

Schedule

Works on-site Monday - Friday from 8a - 4p.
