Healthcare Transactions Counsel

Responsibilities

• Advise on legal and regulatory issues in healthcare-related corporate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, operator transitions, and facility closures.
• Prepare and submit licensure, CHOW, and other filings with Federal and State agencies.
• Negotiate regulatory terms to ensure compliance and minimize legal risk.
• Develop and manage systems for collecting, organizing, and tracking healthcare regulatory data across business segments.

Qualifications & Skills

• JD degree with 4+ years of regulatory and transactional healthcare experience, either at a law firm or in-house.
• Deep knowledge of Federal and State healthcare laws, licensing, and Medicare/Medicaid standards.
• Strong communication skills to convey complex legal topics to senior teams.
• Preferred experience in senior living sectors.
