Job Summary
NVISION® Eye Centers is seeking an Area Manager to build and manage a territory of referring optometry offices in Sacramento and surrounding areas. The ideal candidate will connect with the medical community, build long-term relationships with providers, and ensure patients receive exceptional care.
Responsibilities
- Visit optometry offices regularly to build trust and provide useful offerings such as clinical updates, patient education materials, and event invitations.
- Host and coordinate educational events for referring providers, including dinners, lunch-and-learns, and in-office presentations.
- Monitor the patient experience from referral to post-surgery follow-up.
- Identify new referring offices and develop a pipeline of new relationships.
- Track and maintain accurate activity records and referral data in a CRM system.
Requirements
- 2+ years of sales experience (medical sales preferred but not required)
- Genuinely enjoys building rapport with people
- Organized and self-directed, able to manage a multi-site territory independently
- Comfortable with ambiguity and motivated by building something rather than maintaining it
- Bachelor’s Degree from a 4-year accredited college or university preferred
- Valid California driver’s license and willingness to travel most days

Pay
Anticipated earnings range from $100,000 to $115,000 per year.
