Qualifications

• Effective written and verbal communication skills in the English language.
• Telephone skills.
• Basic computer systems.
• Typing and filing skills.
• Basic knowledge of nursing care terminology and functions.
• Ability to accurately interpret and analyze basic cardiac dysrhythmias.
• Six (6) months experience working as a CNA preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent strongly preferred.
• Current California CNA License.
• BLS certification.
• Basic dysrhythmia certification preferred, or to be obtained within 6 months of accepting position.

Work Environment

• Ability to work in high volume fluctuating census environment.
• Subject to many interruptions.
• Subject to irregular hours.
• Ability to work in fast-paced environment with fluctuating noise levels.
• Prolonged exposure to LCD screens.
• Exposure to combative patients.
