About the role

The Healthcare Senior Analytics Consultant will lead the development of technical and analytical enhancements to improve HCSC Medicare Part D Star ratings. This role will design and develop advanced Stars reporting and dashboards related to clinical, administrative, and customer experience measures. These reports will support business partners and Stars leadership in making critical decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop advanced Stars reporting and dashboards related to clinical, administrative, and customer experience measures.
  • Utilize data to inform and drive improvements in Part D Star ratings.
  • Collaborate with business partners and Stars leadership to implement enhancements and new initiatives.
  • Create dynamic and visually engaging dashboards using data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
  • Lead analytic initiatives to successful completion.
  • Communicate findings and recommendations effectively to senior leadership.
  • Work independently and as part of a team to deliver high-quality outputs within tight timelines.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and 6 years of experience in health care services, statistical analysis, or insurance industry economics or related field OR Master’s degree with 4 years of experience OR PhD with 2 years of experience OR 10 years of experience in health care services, statistical analysis, or insurance industry economics or related field.
  • Understanding and proficiency in querying a wide variety of internal and external data sources.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in computer languages such as SQL, Python, R, etc.
  • Experience leading an analytic initiative to success.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Performance excellence in championing initiatives and collaborating with multiple stakeholders.
  • Ability to work under pressure and deliver high-quality output within short timelines.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with project management methodologies.
  • Experience in Healthcare industry – Medicare STARS Part D data, Medication Adherence measures, CMS pharmacy data pharmacy and provider claims.
  • Experience with advanced analytics tools and languages such as Teradata, Databricks, GitHub, Python.
  • Experience with automation tools such as Airflow, Alteryx.

Pay

Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Range: $84,400.00 - $152,300.00

Full-time position.
