Shift Description

Schedule for this position: Saturday, Sunday and Monday; hours 5:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. This is a 12 hours a day shift position.

• Join Good Samaritan’s Security Team as a PRN Officer and pick up shifts based on your availability while helping protect patients, visitors, and staff in a healthcare setting.

Requirements

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Licensure/Certification: Driver's license a must! Current State of Georgia driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record (no more than six Trinity Health unsafe driving points within a 24-month period).
• Must obtain certifications in:
• American Heart Association Basic Cardiac Life Support (CPR)
• International Association for Healthcare Safety and Security
• Defensive Tactics
• ASP Tactical Baton
• Taser
• Certification required within one year of employment.
• Annual recertification required.

Experience

• Minimum of three years of security, police, or military experience preferred.
• Healthcare security experience is a plus.
