Responsibilities
- Conduct phone screens and informational interviews to develop professional rapport with candidates while assessing candidate’s skill set and how it might best match UK HealthCare’s needs.
- Effectively promote the university’s total compensation, the University itself, and the Bluegrass region.
- Solicit feedback from applicants who accept/reject job offers to assess overall candidate experience and better understanding key deciding factors.
- Conduct market research to understand where external talent pools exist and strategize on how best to maximize our outreach efforts.
- Develop networking relationships with local, state, and national source agencies such as Chamber of Commerce, professional organizations, colleges/universities, as well as social media groups.
- Research and attend career fair opportunities that strategically meet the identified recruiting needs.
- Participate in recruitment events and represent UK HealthCare within the community.
- Cultivate community partnerships to promote healthcare job opportunities and create outreach programing based on hiring needs.
- Track all recruitment and outreach efforts and metrics.
Qualifications
- BA
- 5+ years of related experience
- No license/registration/certification required

Shift
Primarily days, with core hours from 8:00 am-5:00 pm, Monday-Friday. Additional hours outside of core business hours may be required based on business needs.
