About the role
Provides patient care in various healthcare settings within the Hampton Roads area.
Responsibilities
- Collect patient data, administer medications, and reinforce patient education.
- Perform wound care, supervise unlicensed personnel, collect specimens, and ensure medical equipment functions properly.
- Cook up patient care, insert IV lines, monitor intake/output, and respond to emergencies.
- Aid with activities of daily living, maintain logs, and perform tasks such as bathing, feeding, and recording vital signs.
Qualifications & Skills
- Active LPN license with a minimum of 1 year of facility-based experience.
- Current BLS/CPR certification and PPD within one year.
- Covid vaccination or weekly testing required.
- Ability to lift at least 50 pounds, stand, walk, and bend for extended periods without restrictions.
