Responsibilities

• Track approvals and denials from third-party payers within the EMR system.
• Gather and submit clinical information to support authorization requests.
• Respond to payer inquiries and update payer communications promptly.
• Maintain current knowledge of Utilization Management processes to enhance workflows.
• Assist in resolving authorization requests efficiently to support department goals.

Requirements

• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Experience with EMR systems and payer interactions is preferred.
• Knowledge of Utilization Management and healthcare authorization processes.
• Ability to handle sensitive information accurately and confidentially.
