Healthcare Outside Sales Associate (Houston)

About the role
This role requires 70-80% regional travel (AZ, CA, TX, WA and MT) and is open to candidates in the Greater Houston area. It serves as an opportunity to travel regionally as part of Privia's Market Activation team and can act as a stepping stone to become a Privia sales and product subject-matter expert, transitioning into a local-territory based role where you'll grow your own portfolio through new business sales and uncapped commission.
The Sr. Growth Manager is embedded into their market and is responsible for building relationships with prospective physician practices, generating qualified leads for a specified territory, and achieving recruitment targets for providers into Privia Medical Group (PMG). The goal is to significantly grow the number of unique encounters with prospects and increase market share by following an aggressive growth strategy.
Responsibilities
- 70% new business lead generation and in-person prospecting of independent physician practices
- Qualify opportunities with the goal of setting qualified appointments
- Manage a quota and follow up with interested physicians to close opportunities
- Track activities, leads, and pending deals in Salesforce (CRM) and participate in weekly sales meetings and calls with internal and external teams
- Collaborate closely with in-office Growth Operations Associates to gather intelligence, research, and qualify prospects
- Help segment a market/region with the Director to further develop a target list of independent primary care practices
- Develop strategies for maximizing Privia’s presence in-market
- Contribute new ideas and share best practices with a rapidly scaling national sales team
- Create relationships with potential partners
- Follow through with communications to prospects
- Work with Sales and Marketing teams to drive lead generation with top accounts and new opportunities
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 2+ years of experience selling products or services in a professional setting
- Strong objection management and sales techniques preferred
- Experience with CRM software such as Salesforce.com preferred
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must comply with HIPAA rules and regulations
Pay
Total compensation for this role is estimated to be $95,000-$105,000, including:
- Base pay: $60,000.00-$65,000.00
- Commission-based incentive plan: $35,000.00-$40,000.00
- Restricted stock units
The base pay offered will be determined based on relevant factors such as experience, education, and geographic location.
