Healthcare & Life Science Sales Director

About the role

We are hiring a Healthcare & Life Science Sales Director in Dallas, TX. Airgas provides comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, life, AD&D, and disability insurance. Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a Life Science - Healthcare Business Plan for the geographic Region.
• Lead the hiring, development, empowerment, and engagement of Area Medical Specialists, Specialists, Sales, and Branch Management to achieve shared sales goals.
• Ensure compliance with GMP and other regulatory requirements within the Region.
• Manage and uphold Corporate and regulatory policies and business strategies as they relate to Medical Sales.
• Cultivate the development of sales opportunities to drive sustainable business expansion.
• Foster team growth and oversee operations for all medical specialist and medical sales personnel, in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
• Support candidate selection, comprehensive training, and constructive performance coaching.
• Align and prioritize work tasks.
• Support ongoing growth and performance, address feedback, and build alignment and solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university, or equivalent
• 5-10 years experience
• 3+ years related experience in medical hospital or home care including previous management

Qualifications

• Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or governmental regulations
• Possess valid state driver’s license
