Healthcare Electrical Leader
About the role
The Healthcare Electrical Leader will lead the electrical design for large scale hospital projects in California within HCAI Jurisdiction. They will manage large, complex, long-term projects while coordinating with other disciplines and external partners within tight time and budget constraints. The role involves technical design, consulting, client engagement, business development, and team leadership.
Responsibilities
- Leading the electrical design for large scale hospital projects in California within HCAI Jurisdiction
- Managing large, complex, long-term projects while coordinating with other disciplines and external partners within tight time and budget constraints
- Performing as engineer of record (or alternate)
- Fostering a culture of innovation and technical excellence while building a climate of trust and openness within the team
- Incorporating sustainable and decarbonization design methods into building designs
- Responsible and accountable for client relations (internal and/or external)
- Experienced, dynamic, and engaging leader, who has a strong track record of leading teams
- Procuring healthcare work in conjunction with the senior management of the group
- Building, renewing, and maintaining relationships with healthcare owners for the purposes of obtaining repeat business
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical or architectural engineering; graduate degree is a plus
- At least 12 years of electrical engineering and project management experience within the Healthcare market in California
- Registered PE in the state of California
- Track-record of building and managing successful relationships with client organizations
- Demonstrable commercial acumen, business savvy, and leadership qualities
- Energetic, passionate, and inspiring leader, with a successful track record of managing and leading a team
- A strategic and innovative thinker with high-level strategic planning skills and a keen intellect to quickly understand the West Geography business environment and potential
Qualifications
- Absolutely required: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Architectural Engineering
- Experience: At least 12 years of Electrical Engineering and Project Management experience in Healthcare market in California
- License: Registered Professional Engineer (PE) in the State of California
- Relationships: Strong track record of building and managing successful relationships with client organizations
- Leadership: Energetic, passionate, and inspiring leader with a proven track record of leading teams
- Strategic Thinking: Strategic and innovative thinker with high-level strategic planning skills and a keen intellect to understand the business environment
