About the role

Carepool operates a transportation platform for people with disabilities and the aging population. Drivers use their own vehicles to provide rides, help individuals with special needs, developmental disabilities, or older adults integrate into society, and build trusting relationships through consistent, scheduled trips similar to Uber but with daily or weekly rider patterns.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe and secure transportation for riders using your own car
• Develop and maintain trusting relationships with passengers
• Partner with other drivers to cover shifts when needed
• Follow scheduled rides that may occur on a daily or weekly basis

Requirements

• Minimum age of 21 years
• Over 5 years of driving experience
• 100% clean driving record (allowing only a minor ticket every 2‑5 years)
• Excellent personality with the ability to read people and solve problems
• Commitment to safe and secure transport

Qualifications

• Healthcare‑specific experience is preferred
• At least 1 year of professional driving experience is preferred

Schedule

Work on your own schedule on a project basis; rides are often scheduled daily or weekly, allowing for consistent, predictable trips while still offering flexibility to partner with other drivers for shift coverage.
