About the role
We are seeking a Registered Nurse/Healthcare Director to partner with our team to oversee and help implement the day-to-day nursing activities for our assisted living and memory care residents. This includes interacting with residents, their families, and medical providers, nurses, caregivers, and medication assistants.
Responsibilities
- Interact with residents, families, and medical providers
- Create partnerships with the clinical and care teams
- Respond to resident, family, and medical provider requests and concerns
- Report and respond to changes in condition
- Teach, train, negotiate, set expectations
- Communicate a vision and inspire a team
- Assist during medical emergencies or incidents
- Communicate facts based on observation, not subjectively
- Manage department labor and expenses
- Staff and schedule
- Learn necessary software including eMAR and EHR
Requirements

- Able to create partnerships with the clinical and care teams
- Excellent customer service skills
- First-rate assessment skills to report and respond to changes in condition
- Leadership skills including teaching, training, negotiation, expectation setting
- Calm, levelheaded demeanor to assist during medical emergencies or incidents
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Experience working with seniors or other vulnerable populations
- Nursing experience in geriatrics is a plus
- Current RN License
- Minimum of two years’ experience as a registered nurse
- Current negative TB test
- Current or obtain CPR certification
- Prior experience in caring for seniors or other specialty population groups is preferred
- A passion for your work and a commitment to serving others are essential job qualifications

- Current RN License
- Minimum of two years’ experience as a registered nurse
