About the role
The Healthcare Data Analyst will join a collaborative team at Joslin Diabetes Center supporting clinical operations, grounded in patient safety and improvement science to participate in projects that promote a culture of excellence.
Responsibilities
- Acquire, analyze, interpret, and report sensitive data to support quality and performance measurement and track improvement efforts.
- Work independently and collaboratively to locate and validate data, identify data requirements, and communicate data specifications to team members and leaders.
- Develop reporting/analytic solutions, draw meaningful conclusions, and make recommendations for actions.
- Leverage software applications to design solutions and perform detailed data mapping and analysis.
- Manage data and design new processes, produce routine monitoring reports and special projects.

Requirements
- Experience working with databases, establishing data connections and running queries, aggregating and synthesizing data for business plans, trends, and projections.
- Understanding of healthcare financial and operational processes, data management, manipulation and interpretation of large databases.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Allied Health or related field required.
- Master's degree in Public Health, Finance, Epidemiology, Biostatistics or equivalent preferred.
- 2-5 years related work experience.
- Strong experience in data management and analytic tools and techniques.
- Strong experience in report writing, analytics, visualizations, dashboard creation.
- Strong experience demonstrating analytical, financial, qualitative and quantitative skills.
- Advanced technical computer skills as required for technical support specific to functional area and related systems.

Pay
USD $72,800.00/Yr. USD $93,600.00/Yr.
Schedule
This role is expected to have onsite training for the first few months then transition to a hybrid schedule.
