Healthcare Customer Care Specialist
About the role
As a member of the Freight Forwarding team at Kuehne+Nagel, you will play a key role in transporting goods, optimizing processes, and fulfilling our customers' promises. By transporting medicines, toys, and important machine parts, you are not only delivering goods but also making small and big moments possible for people all around the world.
As the Air Operations Healthcare Customer Care Specialist, you are responsible for managing the coordination of customer shipments by securing buy rates (when required) and capacity with qualified carriers/partners. You will be part of a team coordinating transport activities, including executing bookings, data entry for transport document generation, producing required documentation, and liaising with customer care specialists to meet specific requirements such as transit times, carrier selection, and routings.
Responsibilities
- Track and trace shipments through alarm management and checkpoint verification at key milestones
- Communicate effectively with QuickSTAT vendors (service partners and airlines/carriers) to ensure customer needs are consistently satisfied
- Collaborate with Customer Relationship Managers (CRMs), Customer Service, and the Commercial Business Development (BD) team to ensure maximum client satisfaction
- Identify discrepancies, escalate issues to Management, and update clients in conjunction with Customer Service
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Provide the highest quality global transportation and logistics services in alignment with the company mission
- Ensure compliance with all required training certifications
- Report to the Air Logistics Healthcare Operational Care Specialist
Requirements
- Associate's degree or equivalent experience
- 1+ year of experience in logistics or Call Center Customer Service
- Must be able to type 30+ WPM
- Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without employer sponsorship (this position is not eligible for employment visa sponsorship)

Pay
The target salary range for this position is between $23 and $25 per hour. Individual pay may vary based on experience, skills, job location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations. Kuehne+Nagel reviews pay ranges regularly to ensure competitive and fair compensation.
