Healthcare Consultant (Regional Liaison)

About the role

The Regional Liaison is a remote position responsible for managing relationships with rural healthcare providers, community organizations, and government entities within their region. This role reports to the Regional Liaison Supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Establish and strengthen stakeholder relationships
• Provide education on RHRC services and rural health issues
• Identify technical assistance needs and regional needs
• Support resource development
• Represent the organization at regional events
• Collaborate with program teams to deliver technical assistance
• Oversee activities
• Gather insights to improve services
• Attend virtual meetings and support program execution as needed

Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum of 5+ years in healthcare leadership
• Familiarity with rural health challenges
• Familiarity with hospital operations
• Familiarity with CMS regulations
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Excellent organizational skills
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to learn quickly
• Ability to travel as required
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Reliable internet access
