Healthcare CDI Specialist

We are seeking a CDI Specialist to enhance the accuracy, completeness, and quality of clinical documentation within the EMR by collaborating with providers and clinical teams to ensure compliant documentation.

Requirements

• Hold active RN, RHIA, RHIT, CCS, CCDS, or CDIP certification (one or more preferred)
• Minimum of 2+ years experience in CDI, clinical documentation review, case management, utilization review, or discharge planning
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, ICD-10, and documentation standards
• Experience reviewing medical records and querying providers
• Proficient in EMR systems, preferably Epic
• Excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills
