Healthcare Authorization Specialist II - MPF Central Authorizations
Job Summary
Under general supervision, the Healthcare Authorization Specialist II ensures insurance benefits are verified, calculates and communicates patient responsibility estimates, and secures authorization for assigned service types. The incumbent supports internal and external customer inquiries and various communication needs.

Minimum Qualifications

- 2 years of Healthcare Authorization experience or 4 years of experience in Healthcare Revenue
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Epic or other EMR Systems
- 5 years of experience
- Bilingual English/Spanish
Compensation
The current salary range for this position is $23.10 to $31.77. Rady Children’s Hospital maintains competitive salaries through regular market reviews within the nonprofit, healthcare sector.
