Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Plan and implement employee engagement initiatives that promote physical activity, healthy weight management, mindfulness/stress reduction, tobacco cessation, and other wellbeing-related activities.
- Cookordinate and lead group engagement sessions such as safety talks, stretch and flex programs, lunch and learns, seminars, and presentations.
- Conduct blood pressure biometric screenings and body composition testing events.
- Promote safety awareness and injury prevention initiatives.
- Facilitate and maintain high levels of whole population engagement.
- Actively educate and connect employees to client resources and benefits.
- Follow and facilitate a proactive monthly engagement plan.
- Work closely with other stakeholders to integrate wellness and injury prevention initiatives into the client culture.
Whole Population and Individual Health and Wellbeing Coaching
- Proactively engage employees along the transtheoretical model stages of the change continuum.
- Perform proactive site walks or rounds to maintain high visibility.
- Provide individual blood pressure checks and body composition testing.
- Conduct individual health consults and provide resources.
- Maintain employee health and behavior progress.
- Offer referral coaching and resources.
- Engage employees in monthly health and safety topics.
- Follow up with employees to maintain engagement.
Whole Population and Individual Injury Prevention and Safety Coaching
- Conduct daily proactive site walks or rounds.
- Coach employees on body awareness and mindfulness.
- Identify and address safety and musculoskeletal risks.
- Coach employees on workplace safety principles.
- Follow up with employees to maintain engagement.
Daily and Ongoing Responsibilities
- Arrive and leave the client site according to the agreed-upon schedule.
- Be accessible with high visibility.
- Be familiar with emergency and safety protocols.
- Manage time effectively and work independently.
- Ensure accurate and timely data entry.
- Maintain accurate data entry related to coaching activities.
- Maintain confidentiality and follow company policies.
- Attend required team meetings and training sessions.
- Communicate promptly and professionally with key contacts.
- Work collaboratively with onsite partners.
- Ensure proper maintenance of Ramp Health equipment.
- Communicate professionally with stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in health sciences or a related field.
- A strong background in injury prevention.
- Demonstrated time management skills.
- Personable and comfortable with proactive outreach.
- Strong presentation and coaching skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in health and wellness, wellness coaching, fitness, personal training, athletic training, nursing, PT, OT, or PT assistant.
- Behavior change science experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and EMR/SOAP/ADIM data entry.
- Experience taking a manual blood pressure.
