Health Unit Assistant - NICU; 0.8FTE; Day Shift

FTE: 0.8 · Hours Per Week: 32 · Shift: Monday–Friday, with every other weekend and holiday rotation · Weekends: Some · Compensation: $18.32+ · Benefit Eligible

The Health Unit Assistant (HUA) provides essential administrative and clerical support to ensure smooth operations within a healthcare unit. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. The HUA serves as a central point of contact for staff, patients, families, and other departments, assisting with administrative functions, patient flow, and assisting with unit activities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must be available the first week of employment from 8AM – 4:30PM for CNA orientation.
