Health Strategist
About the role
You’ll serve as the clinical backbone for a small panel of clients while becoming the founder’s trusted right hand — combining medical expertise and health optimization to help shape our clients’ health and Scio’s future.
Responsibilities
- Build trusted, long-term relationships with a small panel of clients, serving as their ongoing partner in developing and refining their health optimization strategy
- Coordinate care by preparing clients for appointments, joining visits (virtual or in person) when helpful, and communicating with their broader care team
- Interpret labs (conventional and functional), microbiome and hormone testing, CGM data, wearables, and body composition testing to develop personalized, evidence-informed recommendations
- Navigate acute and time-sensitive situations with confidence, operating comfortably within the traditional medical system — not just the wellness world
- Educate clients on supplements, peptides, longevity therapies, and other emerging strategies, while coordinating with their healthcare providers when appropriate
- Support clients in translating recommendations into lasting behavior change by identifying and addressing both the practical and personal barriers that stand in their way
- Leverage technology and AI tools safely to synthesize medical records and literature, create client-facing summaries and educational resources, and continually identify new ways technology can enhance the client experience
- Design the protocols, workflows, and programs Scio needs as we grow
- Collaborate directly with the founder as a trusted right-hand, helping shape strategy, solve problems, and build the systems and programs that will define Scio as we grow
- Grow into increasing leadership responsibility as Scio expands, with the opportunity to play a significant role in the company's long-term growth and success
