The Health Services Instructor prepares high school students for successful careers in healthcare by providing engaging classroom instruction, hands-on laboratory experiences, and clinical training aligned with state and industry standards.
Responsibilities
- Prepare high school students for successful careers in healthcare
- Provide engaging classroom instruction
- Offer hands-on laboratory experiences
- Supervise clinical training aligned with state and industry standards
- Help students earn industry-recognized credentials
- Develop workforce-ready skills in students
Requirements
- Hold an active Indiana RN license in good standing
- Minimum of two years of licensed nursing experience
- Passion for education and healthcare
- Ability to inspire and motivate students
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Effective teaching and learning strategies
- Knowledge of industry standards and best practices
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
