Health Services Director - Urgently Hiring!

About the role

The Ivy Golden Gate is a premier senior living community managed by Oakmont Management Group. The Health Services Director - LVN oversees resident care and medication management, ensuring residents remain as independent as possible.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with healthcare professionals about resident care needs.
• Coordinate medical, dental, vision, hearing, and podiatry care.
• Administer medications and perform treatments as directed.
• Train and oversee Medication Technicians.
• Conduct pre-admission assessments and routine/reassessments.
• Interview potential residents and families, obtaining necessary medical records.
• Monitor residents' health and report changes to the Executive Director.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid California nursing license as a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) or Registered Nurse (RN).
• Two (2) years of experience in RCFE preferred.
• One (1) year of supervisory experience preferred.
• Able to obtain and maintain a valid RCFE license.
• Able to effectively train and manage staff.
• Proficient in MS Office programs.
• Must pass a criminal background clearance.
• Must be highly motivated and able to work independently.
• Able to obtain and maintain first aid and CPR certifications.
• Passes criminal background check and health screenings, including physical and TB tests.
• May be required to vaccinate, screen daily, wear PPE, and participate in surveillance testing due to COVID-19.

$115k - $120k (depending on experience)
