Health & Safety Specialist

About the role

This position will be based at the job site daily and involves a 60/40 split between office and field work. Flynn Group of Companies is the leading trade contractor in North America, specializing in roofing, glazing, waterproofing, and architectural metals.

Responsibilities

• Administer the company safety and health program both in the office and on job sites.
• Provide safety training and education.
• Attend pre-work and preparatory meetings.
• Maintain a weekly list of high-hazard activities.
• Provide and record site safety orientation and indoctrination.
• Supervise and support all company safety standards.
• Perform all other duties associated with a Health and Safety position.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Construction safety.
• First Aid and CPR certification.
• High School diploma.
• Valid, unrestricted driver’s license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass a government background check.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug test and provide proof of legal ability to work in the U.S.

Pay

Overtime will be paid for any hours over 40.
