Health, Safety & Environment Shift Team Member

Summary Provides daily Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) support to plant operations by promoting a strong safety culture, ensuring compliance with regulatory and company requirements, and assisting with emergency response. Responsibilities include administering and leading basic first aid and first responder care, conducting routine plant walkthroughs, monitoring and reporting visual emissions, performing safety inspections and audits, and supporting the implementation of HSE policies, standards, and procedures. Maintains a visible presence in the facility to identify hazards, drive continuous safety improvement, and support overall operational excellence. Performs additional duties as assigned. Duties And Responsibilities Include, But Not Limited To Leading/administering Basic First Aid/MFR patient careDaily support of the facility with the implementation of HSE policies, standards, and procedures based on regulatory and internal requirementsFoster a proactive and positive plant safety cultureComplete daily walkthroughs of the entire plantComplete Visual Emissions/daily reportingConduct daily, weekly, and monthly safety inspections and auditsPerform other duties as assigned Required Qualifications Emergency and medical first responder skills.A successful candidate must be willing to complete Medical First Responder (MFR) training and ERT TrainingsFamiliar with company safety policies and applicable Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards.Excellent written and verbal communication skills with public speaking ability a plus (teaching training).Excellent interpersonal skills.Ability to conduct training.
