Health & Safety (EH&S) - 2026 Winter Internship

Required Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years of age.
• Must be a US citizen.
• Must be able to successfully pass a medically supervised drug screen and background check.
• Must be available to work 40 hours per week, Monday – Friday.
• Must be available for a minimum of THREE (3) weeks between December 1, 2026 to January 31, 2027; this requirement does not include Wednesday, December 23, 2026 through Friday, January 1, 2027.

Preferred

• Familiarity with OSHA safety and health standards or environmental regulations.
• Strong interest in safety and/or industrial hygiene fields, or Strong interest in occupational sciences/engineering and how environmental regulations apply in the shipbuilding environment.
• Strong interest in a shipyard trade or construction environment.
