Health, Safety, and Environmental Coordinator - Michels Energy Group, Inc.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform job-site visitations, audits, incident investigations, and emergency response
• Audit and assist operations with compliance and communication of existing HSE programs
• Conduct meetings, trainings, and new hire orientations

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a safety role, and 5 years of experience in the oil or gas industry
• Experience in building substations preferred
• Board of Certified Safety Professionals and/or Certified Utility Safety Professional credentialing (desired)
• A valid driver license for the type(s) of vehicles you may be driving and an acceptable driving record
• Bilingual in both English and Spanish is preferred
• Ability to work a flexible and varied work schedule, including nights and weekends
• Ability to travel up to 100% of the time across the United States
• Ability to work 30 days on and 10 days off rotations

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Safety Management, Occupational Health and Safety, etc.)
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in a safety role, and 5 years of experience in the oil or gas industry

Skills

• Strong knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively

Pay

Expected Salary Range: $89,000 - $123,000 USD

Schedule

Flexible and varied work schedule, including nights and weekends; ability to travel up to 100% of the time across the United States; ability to work 30 days on and 10 days off rotations.
