We're looking for public health professionals to help make sure it gets things right. At Alignerr, we partner with the world's leading AI research labs to train cutting-edge language models. As a Health Policy & Management AI Data Trainer, you'll bring your expertise in epidemiology, biostatistics, and health policy to challenge and improve how AI reasons about population health — ensuring it reflects scientific consensus, ethical standards, and real-world complexity. This is a fully remote, flexible contractor role that lets you do meaningful work on your own schedule. Organization: AlignerrType: Hourly ContractLocation: RemoteCommitment: 10–40 hours/week What You'll Do Design Complex Public Health Scenarios — Create advanced challenges involving disease outbreak simulations, health equity assessments, and statistical interpretation of clinical trials to rigorously test AI understandingAuthor Ground-Truth Solutions — Develop rigorous, step-by-step responses grounded in peer-reviewed research, epidemiological data, and authoritative guidelines (CDC, WHO, and others)Audit AI Outputs — Evaluate AI-generated health advice and policy recommendations for accuracy, bias, misinformation, and adherence to ethical standardsRefine AI Reasoning — Provide structured, expert feedback to help models distinguish correlation from causation, communicate risk accurately, and serve diverse populations equitably Who You Are Holder of a Masters in Public Health (MPH), MSPH, or closely related graduate degreeStrong foundational knowledge in at least two of: Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Environmental Health, or Health PolicySkilled at translating complex health data into clear, actionable, and culturally sensitive written contentDetail-oriented — precise when checking statistical significance, data citations, and the logic of health interventionsNo prior AI experience required — your subject matter expertise is what matters Nice to Have Experience with data annotation, quality evaluation, or research coordinationProficiency in data analysis tools such as R, SAS, or StataBackground in health communication, clinical research, or public health surveillance Why Join Us Work on high-impact AI projects alongside the world's leading research labsFully remote and async — work on your own schedule, from anywhereFreelance perks: high autonomy, variety, and flexibilityDirectly shape how AI handles health information at a critical moment in its developmentStrong potential for ongoing contract work and renewals
