About the role

We are seeking a Health Policy & Coalition Manager to join our team based in Washington State. The ideal candidate will have a background in health policy, public health, health administration, or a related field. Graduate students and early-career professionals are strongly encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Monitor Washington State health policy developments relevant to our interview focus areas
• Identify coalition partners among patient advocacy organizations, health equity groups, and public health networks
• Help develop Healthful Stories' policy positioning and public communications
• Operate with autonomy in a small, founder-led nonprofit

Requirements

• Background in health policy, public health, health administration, or a related field
• Familiarity with Washington State health policy landscape, including the Health Care Authority, state legislature, and relevant advocacy organizations
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience in coalition-building, community organizing, or stakeholder engagement (a plus)
