Health Peer Navigator Coordinator
Primary Purpose of the Position
The Coordinator manages overall student activity data collection, and oversees daily Campus Recreation facility operations including training and development of 30+ students. The position ensures safe, inclusive, and efficient facility management while promoting participation and engagement in recreational opportunities. Assist with the collection, organization, and documentation of program and participation data
Greet students and visitors and check individuals in at the front desk or entry point
Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and overall appearance of the Health and Wellness Center, including shared spaces and resource areas
Aid professional staff with day-to-day operational tasks and special projects as needed
Uphold confidentiality and professionalism when interacting with students and handling sensitive information
On-call to provide leadership during times facilities and programs are operating
Evening and weekend work required, and flexible schedule required
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
- 2+ years of professional experience in developing and supervising student and/or part-time employees. Graduate assistantship experience is acceptable
- 2+ years of professional experience working with facility operations, supervising and/or coordinating weight and fitness areas
- American Red Cross First Aid/CPR/AED certification or ability to obtain certification
- Experience in assessing participant participation and satisfaction

Preferred Qualifications
- 2 years of Experience working in a collegiate setting
- General knowledge of operations tied into the management of a multipurpose facility
